OVERVIEW
Gin Rummy is a strategic card game in which the primary goal is to arrange your hand into sets and runs. Sets are formed by grouping cards of the same rank, while runs consist of consecutive cards of the same suit. By discarding combinations from your hand, you earn points. The game concludes when a player reaches the target score, usually set at 100 points.
GUIDELINES
If you are new to Gin Rummy, the objective is to minimize the number of unmatched cards, known as "deadwood," or ideally eliminate them completely. The remaining deadwood cards in your hand are counted as points for your opponent. If your opponent scores 100 points before you do, you lose. On the other hand, if you reach 100 points first, you emerge as the winner.
